We go for a bike rides often. It allows the dog to get a better workout. Going with a bike for 15 20 minutes is not much for a shepherd. Mine trotts much of the way and walks fast when I ride slow. I would let it slide. Unless you see the owners abusing him, let them be. Its probably a case of a single parent who cannot afford a sitter. I not sure if you knew this but, waiters only make about 3 dollars an hour, Most of their wages come from tips. I just dont see it being such an issue as to call child services and wasting everyones time. They are not going to take the child away from the parents just for being there, but they may if they decided to leave him alone without a sitter. See what I saying? If it bothers you so much, than just go elsewhere. But, I do not believe they are doing anything wrong. pai yougo Even the early movies like Higher Learning have a moral that’s so heavy handed it’s embarrassing, and that was two decades ago. Since then, he’s only seemed interested in action movies starring pretty people. Oh, and his entire career has culminated in Abduction, which, if you’re unfamiliar, is The Bourne Identity for teenage girls starring Taylor Lautner’s torso. There’s not a lot of room for social commentary when all the dialogue is filled with high stakes lines like “There’s a bomb in the oven.”
As for nepotism, New York got rid of Tammany Hall style politics more than 100 years ago, but it’s alive and well here in Cape Breton. I’m sure many places here have transparent hiring practices. But too many don’t. Too often, when a decent job comes up, the young, well educated, energetic person who is a perfect fit is passed over because the person in charge of hiring has their sister, brother in law, father or uncle who needs a job. pai yougo Every piece of technology in Star Wars from the Death Star’s murdergun to Luke’s landspeeder might as well be made with magic for all the explanation we’re given. But Star Trek is laden with technobabble, because every new thing that happens needs an explanation. All that detail is wonderful for that tiny core of dedicated fans, but it’s a lot harder to sell to a general movie audience.
