I wanted to talk about my experiences with recording what I eat, as discussed in your column this morning. I have been tracking everything I eat and my exercise activity since April of last year. I use a form I designed myself that has boxes for breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner, as well as exercise and heart monitor readings. I use one form per week and carry it around in my purse along with the last couple of weeks’ forms (so I don’t have to recalculate calorie counts for things I often eat). After a month on a gluten free diet, she felt much, much better. She no longer had stomachaches or symptoms of depression. The frequency of headaches was way, way down. She no longer had to think about bathroom locations before she could go out for dinner. She’s learning to make jokes with waitstaff about being “high maintenance” when she orders food at restaurants or when friends invite her over for dinner. Most people understand. Sometimes she brings her own food to family and friend events. Yes, she says, staying gluten free can be inconvenient at times. But being symptom free is its own reward.
I wasn’t asking to be posing in a bikini on the cover of a magazine two weeks postpartum (because that’s 12 ways to Crazytown) and even though I’ve done this before and should know better I was STILL HOPING that by six weeks postpartum (and now 12, oy) I would at least look like ME. Not, as someone so politely told me when I was pregnant me “in a fat suit.” www.super slim pomegra We have tried meal worms on recommendation with no prevaile and small and medium crickets. She shows a tiny animal instinct interest when not fed for a day as the food moves but is terrified of crickets no matter what size it is and still doesn’t eat. She is not loosing anymore weight thanks to the baby food, but it would be great to know where to go next.
I lost 20 or 30 pounds within a month. I weighed myself once a week to track progress and set a weekly target to achieve and kept at it. Once I got to around 360 pounds, I incorporated exercise and began walking briskly outdoors. Then, I began reading up on exercise routines and started with common movements such as bench presses; anything I could do with a 25 pound weight set. I had no muscle and a ton of body fat, making it difficult to do any sort of complex exercise. I just cranked through and built strength over time. www.super slim pomegra It may be 2011 but I under the impression that men are still supposed to behave like gentleman, men treat women with respect, men don talk badly about a woman looks or weight especially in public, and men never, ever make fun of women if they carry weight. The only men I know of that behave or talk badly about or around women are men that were raised without manners, cavemen who drag their women around by their hair, and men from the south who have a name that starts with and ends with Now there another breed of folks that deserve a whole thread dedicated to themselves!! LOL But seriously, most of them treat their SO/spouses/gf like crap and expect to be catered to all the while their women don mean squat to them. They treat their women like doormats, PIGS! Letterman must be from the south and a because he a PIG too!!
