Thanks everyone for your replies. I’ve been on remeron now for 3 days and I’ve been sleeping GREAT! The only thing is, my appetite has increased greatly as well! I’m concerned about gaining weight. Today I bought some diet pills so hopefully they will help me not to gain weight while on remeron.

As for the diet change I’m not cutting things out just watching portion sizes and substituting low fat foods for full fat (like cheese,botanical slimming purely natural soft capsule, salad dressing, etc) and just making healther food choices. Dieting doesn’t really work for me (where you cut things out) I actually gain weight on a “diet” and diet pills didn’t work either I ate more becuase I was “missing” something. HTH and good luck!!.

I’m not saying that you’ll wake up tomorrow and all of a sudden have a desire to run 5 miles, but it will happen over time if you take small steps. Start by making a list of small goals for yourself, then check them off as you complete them. “I will drink 8 glasses of water today”.
