2day dieting (university of manchester) she too has the gentle nature of the Other Sheperd

We have just introduced a four month old female Sheperd to the household (SPCA) she too has the gentle nature of the Other Sheperd, she is extreemly obedient and never yaps or growls. We have let them have a bit of time together to introduce them and the male has totally accepted her but he constantly wants to mount her, what can we do about that? The sheperd is interested but does not seem overjoyed, on one occasion while walking them her tail tucked under her and she went for the pup, I had to physically grab both her top and bottom jaws to let the pup go, she did not draw blood but pup keeps a weary distance. An older dog in general will get on puppies to keep them in line which is what she needs to do because she is older, and has to establish her dominance over the other dogs to protect herself as she ages.

I have 2 sheperds the male is 1yr and the female is 11 mnths if any one comes in to the house the male goes mad barking and growling at peoplei have only had the bitch a few mnths and him a year he is a gentle giant at any other time i have tried to steer him away from this but he wont give in too thisIf your not into the breeding business get them fixed soon as possible,2day dieting (university of manchester), for he is becoming very territorial. He must be corrected of this, put on a leash when the doorbell rings, beepollencapsules, give the sit command, and make him sit until he can stop barking. Also, grab a handful of hair in each hand on each side of the face, below the ears and shake his head back and forth hard saying loudly, NO NO.!! If this does not work and u can get him down and rolled over, hold him down until he submits to you.Getting angry and forceful with the dog should correct him, he is protecting a female now, he thinks and its going to get worse.
